Field Service Engineer - MNC - Power Equipment - 2 Vacancies

Field Service Engineer - Diesel Generator / $4500 - $5000

Responsibilities:

• Provide the installation, commissioning and on-site training to support the customers according to the scope of the project
• Provides after sales technical support, troubleshooting and site service to customers in a timely manner to ensure that the product is operational.
• Handles wide range of diesel generator sets (small to large capacity) to provide support to departments in terms of service and training
• Ensures all technical and training documents are up-to-date and organized
• Provides specific training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skillsets, ensuring optimum service level at all distributors
• Maintain close working relationship with our key customers to ensure the follow through until the issue is resolved
• Provides technical assistance on factory test of special projects
• Investigates root causes of failures and recommend solution
• To deal with customer on the warranty issues from technical aspect
• Performs any other service and training duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• A team player with strong problem-solving skills and task oriented
• Possess strong customer service orientation, enthusiasm for power generation products
• This role required some traveling to the Asia Pacific and South East Asia Region

Senior Field Service Engineer - Aftermarket & Service Training / $6000-$7500

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Lead / Attends to commissioning of System Project at customer site.
• Provides technical assistance on factory test of special projects.
• Investigates root causes of engine failures and recommend solution.
• Provides after sales technical support and site service to distributors and dealers in a timely manner
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
• Create and maintain detailed service reports, logs, and other documentation related to field service activities.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the Company’s products, services, and related technologies.
• Provide guidance and training to junior field service engineers and other technical personnel.
• Provides specific training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skillsets, ensuring optimum service level at all distributors
• Evaluates distributors and dealers’ technical capability.
• Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams (engineering, sales, customer support), and other stakeholders.
• Drive process improvement and contribute to the development of better service procedures
• Performs any other service and training duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Possesses strong presentation skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Possesses strong customer service orientation, enthusiasm for power generation products
• This role required some traveling to the Asia Pacific and South East Asia Region
