Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager

The role is ideally suited to a candidate with the following capabilities:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): MS Office, AutoCad, MS Project
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for Assistant Project Manager post and at least 5 years working experience for the Project Manager post.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for the construction of a project.
• To review design and shop drawings, the project programme and contribute where necessary.
• Prepared to be innovative
• To be aware of the existence of marketing relationships with external professionals and clients.
• To offer buildability advise and value engineering solutions.
• To produce precise and succinct project reports
• To take a lead role in project presentation to the clients

• Be aware of element costings and costs/ft2
• Thorough understanding of construction methods and M&E systems
• Good team leader and "man-manager"
• Experience in managing project effectively from the strategic to the operational level.
• Effective communicator, who is experienced in liaising with clients, subcontractors and professional teams.
• Ability to make decisions
• Hold the correct Safety and Health qualifications
• First Aid certificate holder
• Energetic and flexible team member
• Ability to organize and plan your and other time effectively
