This role is pivotal in shaping and operationalizing our next-generation quality engineering vision—one that is automation-first, insight-driven, and tightly integrated into our SDLC.
You will work at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations, championing quality as a mindset and not just a milestone. Quality Strategy & Leadership- Help define and drive the long-term Quality Engineering (QE) roadmap in alignment with broader engineering and product strategies.
- Lead strategic programs focused on defect containment, CI/CD integration, and automation scale-up.
- Translate organizational goals into quality initiatives that improve velocity, coverage, and reliability.
- Collaborate with product, platform, and SRE teams to integrate quality gates, pre-release validations, and production monitoring insights.
- Advocate and implement shift-left practices—ensuring quality is embedded early and consistently across all stages of development.
- Scale E2E automation for multi-locale, multi-currency user journeys.
- Institutionalize test architecture principles, reusable frameworks, and self-healing pipelines.
- Drive adoption of modern test automation tools across the QE stack
- Define quality KPIs (e.g., Change Failure Rate, Test Execution Time, Flaky Test Trend) and lead data-driven improvements.
- Streamline test lifecycle processes and reduce friction in validation, rollout, and rollback operations.
- Enhance test observability, traceability, and RCA automation for faster and smarter decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a distributed team of QEs and SDETs at both IC and manager levels.
- Cultivate a high-performance, growth-mindset culture with a strong bias for action and continuous improvement.
- Build bench strength through training, coaching, and strategic hiring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A strong academic foundation in software engineering principles and testing methodologies is preferred.
- Be part of the Quality transformation journey at one of Asia’s most admired tech companies.
- Work on complex, high-scale systems that impact millions of users across Southeast Asia.
- Collaborate with world-class talent in engineering, product, and design.
- Enjoy flexibility, autonomy, and growth opportunities in an inclusive and forward-thinking team
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles.

- Strong people management skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical talent.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A strong academic foundation in software engineering principles and testing methodologies is preferred.
- Prior experience in high-growth tech/startup environments.
