Role Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and disciplined Chef de Partie (CDP) to join the Fortuna famiglia. You will be in charge of a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes leaving your station are prepared with precision, authenticity, and consistency, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate a section of the kitchen (pasta, pizza, grill, etc.) with autonomy and accountability
- Prepare and present dishes in line with Fortuna’s recipes and standards, with attention to taste, plating, and speed
- Ensure mise en place is ready and stock is rotated daily
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to improve processes and execute the menu with pride
- Uphold food hygiene and safety standards in compliance with local regulations
- Assist junior team members through guidance, training, and support
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as CDP or strong experience as a Demi CDP in a fast-paced kitchen, ideally in an Italian or Mediterranean setting
- Deep knowledge of Italian ingredients, cooking techniques, and plating styles
- Passion for authentic cuisine, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver consistent results
- Open availability for weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Fluent in English; basic Italian terminology is a plus
