Job Description: Jnr Data Engineer

As a Jnr Data Engineer you will be working on innovative medium-sized advanced analytics projects onsite in Singapore and virtually with global teams working on offshore projects. The clients range from Singapore Government agencies to innovative start-ups and large offshore clients in Europe and Australia.

• Project Manager Singapore, AlphaZetta

Key Data Engineer Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop and maintain data ETL pipelines on cloud platforms to support business analytics and reporting needs.
• Assist in data warehouse design and data modeling for source system integration
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.

You will be working on innovative medium-sized advanced analytics

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in analytics tools like Python and SQL.
• 1 years of work experience with ETL, Data Modelling, and designing, coding, transformation and processing of data sets using Pyspark data build tool and SQL.
• Experience in Azure and or AWS cloud services like AWS Lambda, Glue, EC2, S3, Redshift, RDS, Cloudwatch and Step Functions.
• Willing and enthusiastic about continuous learning of new technologies and data science & data engineering techniques.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory and dbt (Data Build Tool) will be an added advantage.
• Experience with PowerBI also an advantage.
