Butcher/ Retail Assistant (Full Time) - Bedok - ref. t2278623

Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform basic meat cutting including trimming and slicing beef and pork
• Mince beef and pork products
• Ensure all equipment are kept clean and good working condition
• Weigh and label meat products and package them nicely
• Attend to customer’s queries and needs promptly in a friendly and courteous manner
• Assist in arranging meat products nicely in the display chiller
• Arrange dry/retail items on shelves in an attractive manner and according to FIFO
• Be knowledgeable in all different cuts of beef and how to cook them
• Any ad-hoc duties that assigned by superior

Requirements:

• Able to work well in a team
• Good communication skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn
• Able to work weekends and public holidays
• F＆B/ Butchering experience is a bonus
• Possessing a valid food handler’s certificate (Food Safety Course Level 1 or higher)
