Infrastructure Engineer (Contract / 12 Months)

• Work in a 24x7 shift environment.
• Monitor system performance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform routine system maintenance tasks.
• Maintain system security to ensure continuous availability of Linux servers.
• Work with infra and app teams on requirement gathering to implementation.
• Review and analyze infrastructure architecture and identify the gaps.
• Perform Linux OS patching and other administration tasks for projects
• Guide app team to troubleshoot infra related issues.
• Be the SME for Linux administration and automation.

Operation & Process:

• Prepares technical project plans for new initiatives in BAU
• Collaborates with Application teams and other infra teams to develop technical solutions and enhancements.
• Join any incident Management calls and work closely on the RCA.
• Provide L2 expertise for incident, security incident responses
• Drive the on boarding of new applications on to the production environment.
• Maintain Security:
• In accordance with Bank’s security directives, assists to deploy, maintain, and enhance the security of all infrastructure systems through administrative, preventive, detective, and reactive controls, such as change and configuration management, anti-virus measures, patch management, and system scans.

• At least 5-7 years of relevant Infrastructure support and OS administration.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on working experience managing production application support.
• Hands-on experience in RHEL 7/8/9 OS patching, administration and shell scripting.
• Good command in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in monitoring tools like Zabbix would be handy.
• Must have good communication and writing skills. Able to drive meetings and coordinate different stakeholders.
