Automotive Technician / Mechanic (EV Car, Heavy Vehicle) – High OT / Incentive

Responsibilities:

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair works in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting, including electrical and high-voltage systems where applicable.
• Identify and escalate technical issues or parts unavailability to the workshop foreman.
• Ensure all repair works are completed with high quality and “fix-it-right-first-time” standard.
• Prepare clear and concise service reports for all completed jobs.
• Accurately clock in/out and record job timings in line with workshop productivity requirements.
• Support in handling customer complaints through effective troubleshooting and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of the work bay.
• Maintain proper usage and care of tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
• Follow warranty guidelines and procedures for all repair and claim processes.
• Assist workshop management and team members with ad-hoc duties when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum NTC 2 / NITEC in Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Possess automotive certification will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the automotive repair and servicing industry.
• Experience in electric vehicles (EV) or electrical systems maintenance will be highly preferred.
• Familiar with diagnostic tools, troubleshooting, and repair processes.
• Responsible, hands-on, and able to work independently in a workshop environment.
