Job Summary
We are partnering with a multinational company in the electronic components manufacturing industry to appoint a strategic and commercially driven Sales Director.
This leadership role is responsible for the overall strategic direction, sales growth, and operational performance of the business. The Sales Director will oversee both Sales and Operations functions and hold full accountability for the company’s Profit & Loss (P&L) across ASEAN, India, Europe and North America market.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute business growth strategies aligned with shareholder objectives
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic investments
- Strengthen competitive positioning within the electronic component's ecosystem
- Drive sustainable long-term value creation
- Sales & Market Expansion
- Lead and oversee the regional/global Sales organization
- Develop regional sales strategies and revenue targets
- Strengthen key customer and supplier relationships
- Drive business development in strategic and high-growth markets
- Ensure strong pipeline management and forecast accuracy
- Operations & Supply Chain Oversight
- Oversee supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory functions
- Optimize operational efficiency, cost control, and service delivery
- Strengthen supplier partnerships and ensure supply continuity
- Manage operational and commercial risks across markets
- Financial & P&L Accountability
- Full responsibility for company-wide P&L performance
- Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization
- Ensure financial discipline, budgeting accuracy, and capital efficiency
- Report financial and operational performance to the Board
- Organizational Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing leadership team
- Develop succession planning and talent strategies
- Foster a performance-driven and customer-focused culture
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across Sales and Operations
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and corporate governance standards
- Manage legal, contractual, and commercial risks across markets
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the electronic components industry (manufacturing, distribution, or semiconductor-related business)
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles with regional or global exposure
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and profitability
- Extensive experience in P&L management and financial leadership
- Strong understanding of global supply chain and procurement operations
