This job advertisement is intended to recruit for several engineering positions, including:
- Project Engineer (Shipbuilding / Electrical / Power / UPS) - East / West
- Service Engineer (Engine Servicing) - West, sites to sites travelling
- Service Engineer (Power & Switchgear Testing and Servicing) - East, sites to sites travelling
Role assignment will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Support and execute shipbuilding, marine, electrical, UPS, and power-related projects
- Perform servicing, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance works
- Handle engine servicing and overhaul works where applicable
- Conduct power and switchgear testing, inspection, and servicing
- Coordinate with shipyards, clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Prepare technical reports, service records, and project documentation
- Attend site works, onboard vessels, and project meetings as required
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience in marine, shipbuilding, electrical, power, UPS, or servicing roles is an advantage
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Willing to perform site-based and onboard vessel work
- Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude
- Entry level is welcome to apply as training will be given
- Good to have Class 3 (For service role)
