PAUT Technician

Job Summary

We seek a full-time PAUT & NDT professional experienced in refinery, petrochemical, gas plant, and marine sectors to perform advanced ultrasonic testing and ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.

• Prepare and execute scan plans for ultrasonic testing to ensure accurate data collection
• Calibrate ultrasonic testing equipment to maintain measurement precision and reliability
• Acquire and interpret ultrasonic data using Phased Array (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) techniques for defect detection and material evaluation
• Report findings clearly and accurately to support maintenance and safety decisions
• Apply advanced ultrasonic testing and shear wave examination techniques to assess structural integrity
• Utilize computer skills, including MS Office, to manage documentation and reporting efficiently
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Adhere strictly to relevant codes and standards to ensure compliance and safety in testing procedures

• PCN Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD)
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in scan plan preparation, calibration, data acquisition, interpretation, and reporting in relevant sectors

• Diploma in Engineering or Engineering Graduate preferred
