Marine Operations Manager - Choa Chu Kang

• Provide operational support required for the fleet and act as main liaison between customers, vessels and technical superintendent.
• Assist in preparation of QHSSE audits/inspections including incident / accident investigation
• Monitor daily reports from fleet vessels and follow up as and when necessary.
• Attend to customer queries and request with regards to operation matters.
• Monitor utilization of vessel and on/off-hire documentations.
• Ensure fleet operations adhere to company policies, procedures and respective rules and regulations applicable to area of operations.
• Ensure shipboard records such as tow gear, stores and equipment / appliances inventory are maintained up to date.
• Monitor tow gear usage and plan for replenishment.
• Ensure trading documents are up to date.
• Attend to 3rd party inspections, such as suitability, OVID, warranty, etc.
• Conduct shipboard audit (ISM, ISPS).
• Manage and maintain company’s QHSSE policies and system onboard the vessels, monitor and review JSA, RA, PTW system.
• Undertake and handle ad-hoc projects as assigned by Superior as and when required.

• Diploma in Nautical Studies or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of ship management experience in Operations and Safety, preferably in offshore industry.
• With ISM / ISPS Internal Auditor certifications preferred.
• Sound knowledge and experience on IMO flag state and classification societies’ requirements, quality, safety and security management system.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
