Working hours: 08.30am – 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday), 08.30am – 5.30pm (Friday)

Job Summary & Purpose:

As a key team member of the GC&B team focusing on the Medical Job Family, work with the GC&B Leads in the planning, formulation and review of C&B programmes and policies at the Group level, and provide overview from a Group perspective to support all Healthcare company institutions in attracting, motivating and retaining the right talents to support business strategies

Duties & Responsibilities:

C&B Partner, Medical
  1. Support the GC&B Leads in all sectoral related C&B matters that will impact the medical job family in Healthcare company.
  2. Lead C&B reviews and projects independently.
  3. Be a proactive team member in cross-institution workgroups/committees that aims to discuss, align and propose principles. Aim is to have harmonized SOP/framework for C&B matters relating to medical staff. This may include but not limited to salary/bonus reviews in accordance to performance management framework, terms and conditions relating to salary components, and other harmonization and alignment required across institutions in Healthcare in line with the broader public healthcare agenda directed by ministries and senior management.
  4. As a Group representative, work together closely with institution level HR colleagues to understand any policy change/deviation request driven at sectoral/group level. To be proactive and provide consultative and collaborative support, understand institutional needs so as to co-create solutions taking into consideration the system-wide impact.
  5. Together with institution HR, review/propose recommendations and follow through to get necessary approvals from Senior Management.
General C&B
  1. Partner the GC&B Lead to manage C&B projects end-to-end, including conceptualisation, simulations, implementation strategies, communications and change management as and when required. Prepare data/analysis, design compensation levers for review with Senior Management.
  2. Research and analyse information on compensation statistics, market sentiments and market practices to support C&B strategies and initiatives. To keep abreast of local C&B best practices and legislative changes to ensure compliance.
  3. Work closely with Policy team on review of Group HR policies and HR information systems to ensure alignment with changes to C&B programmes that impacts medical staff.
  4. Work with the Group Education office to support the renewal of agreements, and also establish norm rates for charging where Healthcare doctors provide teaching services.
  5. Participate in other ad-hoc HR projects and activities at the Group HR level as required, such as group budgeting systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Min Degree in HR Related field / Business Admin or equivalent
  • At least 8 years relevant working experience in the area of Compensation & Benefits, and experience in healthcare is preferred
  • Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in total rewards including salary structure design, salary reviews, market benchmarking competitiveness studies.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Advanced skills in Excel preferred
  • Knowledge in local employment laws and regulations such as Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act etc is preferred.
  • Past experience in HRIS project and implementation will be advantageous.
  • Numerate, strong analytical skills and has an eye for detail
  • Strategic thinking mindset, Forward thinking with an improvement mind-set and appreciates the use of tech to drive smooth work processes
  • Inquisitive with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player, independent and resourceful
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and good in presentation.
  • Comfortable with managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and resilient including ability to manage difficult stakeholders.
