Chief Technology Officer - Geylang

Job Description:

1. Responsible for organizing the company's core technology products research, establishing optimization of internal technology and precipitation mechanism, coordination of project development and implementation.
2. Guide and lead the teams in solving major technical problems and complex technical difficulties and research.
3. Create and manage the technology budget, optimize resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
4. Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy tailored to the company’s business objectives, scalability and operational efficiency.
5. Prepare documentation e.g. Design specifications, User Acceptance Test document.
6. Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity.
7. Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring data privacy and security regulations compliance.
8. Identify opportunities for technological advancement and integrating tech solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals.

Job Requirements:

1. Good knowledge of web services, network protocols, and common data-interchange formats(HTTPS, Socket, JSON, XML).
2. Knowledge of encryption, hashing, and key exchange standards.
3. Proficient understanding of various programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
4. Experience in using IntelliJ IDEA, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Git, VPN, Logfaces, G-Suite.
5. Experience with agile development and working with a distributed team would be an added advantage.
6. Good documentation and knowledge management practices
7. Good knowledge in risk management, security management, cyber security, data quality and external compliance.
8. Proficient understanding of networking protocols, server management network security, and managing modern network infrastructure to ensure seamless and secure connectivity.
