Warehouse Assistant cum Cargohand

The Warehouse Assistant cum Cargohand is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including cargo handling, storage, and coordination of shipments. The role ensures all cargo is handled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.

• Load and unload cargo from trucks, containers, and pallets
• Perform manual handling of cargo, including stacking, sorting, and palletising
• Ensure proper handling of fragile, DG (if applicable), or special cargo
• Assist in stuffing and unstuffing of containers
• Receive, check, and store incoming shipments accurately
• Perform cargo tallying and ensure quantities match documents
• Label and arrange cargo in designated storage locations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Coordinate with operations team, drivers, and supervisors for cargo movement
• Follow instructions for delivery, collection, and transshipment activities
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use PPE at all times
• Ensure proper cargo securing to prevent accidents
• Comply with Singapore warehouse and handling regulations
• Participate in safety briefings and training

• Able to carry heavy cargo
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Basic understanding of warehouse or logistics operations preferred
• Forklift license (advantage)
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious
