We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our client acquisition and revenue growth efforts in the IT sector. This role combines strategic planning, relationship management, and market development to expand our business footprint.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Roles of a BDM
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, industry research, and market intelligence.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
- Drive sales pipeline growth by managing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to deal closure.
- Negotiate business contracts and agreements in line with company objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align business goals and campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Prepare regular business reports, forecasts, and strategic plans for management review.
- Promote and sell IT-related solutions (cloud computing, SaaS, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, infrastructure, managed services).
- Understand client IT needs and pain points to propose tailored technology solutions.
- Work with technical and solution architects to design and present customized proposals.
- Stay updated on emerging IT technologies to position the company as an innovative partner.
- Represent the company at IT industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in IT solutions/services).
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of IT trends, solutions, and business applications.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
