Who we are looking for
Hydroleap is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
As a Process Engineer, you will have a strong technical background in process engineering, and a demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive process improvements.
What you will be doing- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to optimize processes.
- Utilize process engineering tools, such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing, to improve manufacturing performance.
- Lead process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and maintenance, to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Develop and implement process control plans to ensure consistent product quality and reduce defects.
- Evaluate and select new equipment and technology to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to resolve process-related issues.
- Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in process engineering and apply them to improve manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in process engineering tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical process control.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to analyze process data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience with process simulation and modeling software is a plus.
- Experience in water treatment or related industries is a plus.
