We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance team on a 3-month contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with basic accounting knowledge who is eager to contribute to daily operations and gain valuable short-term experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily accounting tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and filing
  • Support month-end closing activities and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain and update accounting records and documentation
  • Assist in accounts payable/receivable processes
  • Prepare simple financial reports or summaries as required
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Accounts Manager

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBook, Xero, or others)
  • Strong attention to detail, with good organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Immediate availability or short notice preferred
