Process Engineer - Design (FPSO / Gas Compression)

About our client: Our client operates primarily in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical engineering sector.

About the role:

• Having Process design of Gas compression system including Process Flow Diagram (PFD), P&ID, Process safety diagram (PSD) and Heat & Mass Balance.
• Prepare and review Gas Compression P&ID
• Have the competency to run Aspen HYSYS simulation
• Able to perform sizing for pipeline within the Gas compression skid, Pulsation bottle, Scrubber (with internal), cooler, and PSV.
• Prepare the PSV sizing, settle-out and blowdown calculation report.
• Prepare Fire Fighting system design and hydraulic calculation for Gas compression skid
• Able to prepare Operating, control & Safeguarding philosophies.
• Able to work independently in process datasheets and line list
• Able to prepare and review cause and effect matrix
• Able to lead in HAZOP / LOPA / SIL reviews independently
• Participate in technical evaluation of all equipment and instrument of gas compression system
• Participate in design review meetings with clients and vendors.

About you:

• Educational background in bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
• 3 to 5 years direct hands-on experience in detailed engineering of gas compression systems for FPSO
• Well versed in industrial design practices and OFFSHORE requirements.
• Possess working experience level in using Aspen HYSYS
• Have work in multi-discipline team in delivering gas compression facilities and units.

• Work location: West
• Work hours: 5-day workweek (May be required to work on Saturdays for project site meetings or coordination, depending on project needs)
