Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer - Jurong West

An Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer in a process plant is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing electrical and instrumentation systems: Developing designs for new systems or modifications to existing systems.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems: Identifying and resolving issues with electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment.
• Collaborating with other departments: Working with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Developing and implementing maintenance plans: Creating and executing maintenance plans to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Analyzing and optimizing system performance: Reviewing system performance data to identify areas for improvement.

• Strong technical knowledge: Understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, including design, operation, and maintenance.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
