About the role
VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a talented Network Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is located at our office in the Lavender Central Region. As a Network Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the automation and optimisation of our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient operations.
What you'll be doing- Develop and implement network automation solutions using tools like Ansible, Python, and other programming frameworks
- Automate repetitive network tasks and configurations to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address network-related challenges
- Continuously monitor and optimise network performance, implementing improvements as needed
- Provide technical support and training to network administrators and other stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network automation and implementation
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in network administration or engineering
- Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible, Python, and PowerShell
- Strong understanding of network protocols, technologies, and architecture
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve network issues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively
- Familiarity with cloud computing and containerisation technologies is an advantage
