Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and execute sustainability awareness workshops and events and actively engage with participants to raise awareness of sustainability transformation efforts and government plans.
Conduct sustainability assessments and audits for member companies to identify opportunities for improvement
Develop and deliver tailored sustainability strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans
Provide training and capacity building to empower member companies with robust internal sustainability capabilities.
Support the execution of sustainability initiatives, monitoring progress to ensure impactful outcomes.
Represent SMF at industry events, collaborating with stakeholders to advance sustainable manufacturing practices.
Contribute to SMF’s broader sustainability agenda through research, reporting, and thought leadership activities.

Requirements

Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in a sustainability consulting or advisory role
Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, tools and best practices in the manufacturing sector
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and drive change
Experience in project management and delivering measurable sustainability outcomes
