Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounting (Japanese Speaking) - Pasir Ris

Salary range: SGD 5,000 - 10,000

Our Client is a listed Japanese Construction Company. The Assistant Manager—Finance and Accounting role is primarily responsible for preparing and reporting consolidated financial statements.

You will be reporting to the Finance and Accounting Manager.

• Support the Manager in preparing and reporting quarterly consolidated financial statements to the parent company in Japan
• Review quarterly financial statements of group companies.
• Assist with financial closing and audit.
• Prepare and review yearly budgets with the Manager.

• Review daily payments.
• Report quarterly group organisational chart and list of group companies.
• Perform additional assignments as required by the Manager, Senior Manager, Finance and Accounting or the Chief Financial Officer.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
• Solid knowledge of IFRS, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management and general accounting, or equivalent training and experience. This includes processes related to the preparation and reporting of consolidated financial statements.
• Strong Excel skills, including but not limited to “IF functions,” “Index functions,” “Pivot tables,” etc.
• High level of Japanese proficiency, such as JLPT N1-N2, for smoother communication with Japan HQ.
• Be able to join by the end of Jan.

• Experience in the construction industry
• Understanding of Japanese business culture
• Familiarity with the STRAVIS system
