Drafting Assistant, 6 months Contract Up $3.5K
Location: MaxwellWorking Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 6pm; Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Responsibilities:
- Edit and clean approved building and floor plans in various formats, including 2D CAD and 3D BIM
- Ensure all CAD/BIM data is accurately documented, organised, and maintained in a structured manner
- Interpret and validate building and floor plans to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Track and support the progress of data digitalisation to ensure timely delivery of datasets
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency and meet project timelines
Requirements:
- Diploma or relevant educational background in Architecture, Built Environment, or related fields; or equivalent hands-on drafting experience
- Proficient in drafting software such as AutoCAD
- Able to read and interpret architectural/building plans
- Experience with BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit) is an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and ensure data accuracy
- Good teamwork and communication skills
