Operations & Animal Care Assistant (Full-Time) – Pawkit

About Pawkit
Pawkit is a fast-growing pet care platform providing housecall grooming, veterinary, and medical services. We are building a reliable operations team to support both in-office workflows and on-ground housecall services.
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on, and detail-oriented team member to support daily operations. This role combines office management, animal care, and on-ground support for housecall services.
You will play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes while also supporting field operations when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Office Operations- Maintain a clean, organised, and functional workspace
- Ensure all supplies are stocked, prepared, and replenished proactively
- Prepare equipment and materials required for daily operations and housecalls
- Perform daily husbandry care for office cats. (Feeding, cleaning, litter maintenance, general monitoring)
- Ensure animals are kept in a safe, clean, and low-stress environment
- Assist with housecall grooming and veterinary appointments when required
- Support team members on-site (e.g. handling pets, preparing equipment)
- Be comfortable eventually assisting in euthanasia appointments (training provided)
- Use basic systems to support operations (training provided)
- Communicate with team members and clients in a clear and professional manner
- Assist with simple coordination tasks when required
- Genuine interest in animals of all kinds
- Comfortable handling pets and working in a hands-on environment
- Honest, reliable, and responsible with strong integrity
- Good attention to detail and takes initiative
- Able to communicate in English confidently
- Not shy to speak to clients or team members
- Comfortable using a computer (basic proficiency required)
- Physically able to support active, on-the-go work
- Additional Requirements
- Must hold a valid driving licence
- Comfortable driving and supporting mobile operations
