Job Description

The Research Assistant will be a member of the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI) research team, working under ACI Director, Professor Paul Cheung, to work on a number of research projects related to Asian economies.

The candidates should have experience in policy analysis and are familiar with socioeconomic development of Asian economies.

Bachelor/Masters degree in Economics, Social Sciences, or equivalent
Familiar with socioeconomic development of Asian economies
Familiar with working on the large economic datasets for statistical analysis
Demonstrate good organisational and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written English
Able to multitask and manage tight timelines
Able to work in a team as well as independently. Must be highly self-motivated
Able to commit to at least 1 year of service
