Tampines - General Manager

Job Summary:

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing daily business operations, improving overall business functions, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating policies, and communicating business goals. The GM ensures that business objectives are met efficiently and effectively while fostering a positive and productive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations across departments to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement business strategies aligned with company goals.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, and forecasts; identify areas for cost reduction and improvement.
• Manage and lead department heads and other staff; foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Analyze business performance data to drive decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders.
• Report on business operations, challenges, and progress to the executive team or board of directors.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a senior managerial role.
• Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Financial acumen and analytical ability.
• Full-time position; may require extended hours.
• Office-based with occasional travel depending on company needs.
