Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team specializing in fresh meat products. The successful candidate will help manage daily store operations, ensure top-quality customer service, and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily outlet operations and ensure seamless customer service.
• Manage outlet staffing, including rostering and scheduling.
• Train and guide retail sales staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Identify and resolve operational and people-related issues promptly.
• Plan and execute in-store promotions in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Monitor stock replenishment (FIFO) to ensure freshness and quality of products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Oversee maintenance of outlet premises and equipment.
• Participate in job rotation across various departments to broaden skills.

• Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
• Proficient in Spreadsheets (Excel).
• Open to learning and continuous growth.

• 5.5 days per week (shift basis).
• Weekend availability required.
• Day shifts, including public holidays.
