Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a Karnataka/Bangalore cuisine restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining profitability, leading staff, and preserving the authenticity and quality of Karnataka cuisine offerings.Restaurant managers are typically responsible for daily operations, staff management, customer satisfaction, inventory control, budgeting, and compliance with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the restaurant.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore food safety and workplace regulations.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
- Foster a positive, customer-centric work culture.
- Ensure guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
- Build customer loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality reflective of Karnataka culture and traditions.
- Monitor daily sales and restaurant performance.
- Manage food and labor costs to achieve profitability targets.
- Oversee inventory levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
- Minimize wastage and implement cost-control measures.
