The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering our client, a famous Tech MNC
We are looking for a Accounts Receivable Specialist
The role will start out as a contract
Candidates who are immediately available/ able to start work within short notice will be preferred

The Talent

Ideally 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, and collections
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Proficiency in Excel and relevant accounting software will be a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc)
Excellent communication skills for client follow-up and query resolution
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and AR best practices
Tech industry experience will be a plus

Job Description

Maintain up-to-date billing system
Generate and send out invoices
Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
Perform account reconciliations
Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
Research and resolve payment discrepancies
Generate age analysis
Review AR aging to ensure compliance
Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc
Process credit card payments
Prepare bank deposits
Investigate and resolve customer queries
Process adjustments
Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts
Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
Assist with month-end closing
Collect data and prepare monthly metrics
