About the role
Join SCHUTZ SINGAPORE PTE. LTD., as a full-time Material Planner. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective planning and scheduling of materials to ensure seamless production operations and meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability- Material Requirement Planning/control to meet sales order and production demand.
- Conduct and coordinate monthly stock take exercise to ensure stock accuracy between SAP and physical are achieved.
- Monitor inventory levels and movements and act responsively the feedback from sales forecast and also highlight slow moving & obsolete stock to management for action.
- Ensure and monitor BOM accuracy and integrity are being maintained and controlled.
- Ensure scraps are being recorded correctly to SAP and declaration integrity are achieved.
- Attend and respond to sales enquiries in relation to BOM application and verification, stock availability, lead time and freight cost matters.
- To perform ad hoc work as requested by superior and management.
- Work in accordance with company ISO, 5s, Safety, Health & Environmental procedures. Report unsafe situations to superior or SHEQ department.
- Support Warehouse and Logistics in materials shipment arrangement and purchasing tasks.
- To monitor and evaluate suppliers’ performance.
- Min Diploma, Bachelor degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a material planning or production planning role within the manufacturing industry.
- Good computer skills, experience with ERP system (SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Resourceful, Self-motivated with ability to work independently, strong team spirit and work in meeting datelines.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
