Quantity Surveyor
Overview
The Quantity Surveyor role involves delivering comprehensive quantity surveying and cost management services across all phases of construction projects, with a particular focus on data centres and industrial developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, tender documentation, and progress valuations, as well as managing contract administration and final account settlements.
Your role- Prepare cost estimates and cost plans.
- Prepare tender documents, corrigenda, queries and clarifications.
- Evaluate tender submissions and make tender recommendation report for award.
- Prepare progress claims, progress valuations.
- Prepare cost reports.
- Assess variations.
- Contract administration.
- Assist in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims.
- Prepare and agree final accounts.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
- Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor or SISV is preferred.
- A minimum 5 years’ experience as consultant or client representative.
- Experience in quantity surveying & cost management services for both pre-contract and post contract stages.
- Experience in Data Center projects and/or industrial projects.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Quantity Surveyor position.
