Assistant/Service Engineer (Plastic Injection Molding Machine)

Salary: S$3,000 - S$3,800

Our client is a Japanese global manufacturing company. They are seeking a Service Engineer to join their Plastic Injection Molding team.

Region: Malaysia (JB), Philippines, Singapore

• Perform troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of the Plastic Injection Molding Machine
• Arrange work schedule, planning, maintenance & repair works on site and be able to work independently
• Visit the client site and maintain and repair the machine.
• Provide after-sales services such as installation, test run, and repair.
• Contact customers and solve problems by providing technical solutions.
• Create the Technical Reports and report them.

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in machine troubleshooting and maintenance, preferably with injection molding machines or similar industrial equipment
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (listening, speaking, and writing) to effectively communicate, document, and liaise with English- and Mandarin-speaking customers
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (company car will be provided once the staff is independent)
• Willingness to travel overseas when required (e.g., Johor Bahru, the Philippines, and other locations, depending on business needs)
• Comfortable working in field-service environments (e.g., customer sites, production floors, and hot or oily environments with heavy machinery).

• Experience in PLC is a plus
