Temporary Customer Service Officer (CED)
Contract Duration: 7–12 monthsHourly Rate: Up to $18.50/hr
Work Days: Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–6:00pm | Friday: 8:30am–5:30pm
Location: Balestier
Job Responsibilities:The Temporary Customer Service Officer will support CED officers in managing enquiries, events, and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Enquiries Management
- Triage and manage 9 mailboxes via the Feedback Management System.
- Respond to enquiries from the public, registrants, and members regarding registration, practising certificate renewal, continuing professional education, complaints, and general queries.
- Pledge Ceremonies Support
- Respond to email enquiries related to Pledge Ceremonies.
- Draft email invitations for doctors and VIP guests.
- Assist with event administration, logistics, and vendor sourcing.
- Provide on-site support during events, if needed.
- Prepare Pledge Certificates and update attendance in registrants’ PR's records.
- Communications & Circulars
- Assist divisions in reviewing draft circulars and disseminating notices.
- Administrative Support & Other Duties
- Prepare documents for procurement of event management and design services.
- Assist with corporate e-greeting card distribution and other ad hoc administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree, preferably in Mass Communication or Business Management.
- Experience handling enquiries, events, communications projects, and website/content development.
- Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
