Data Analyst, MNC, SQL, Python

This role will focus on managing, analyzing and visualizing data to support business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and maintain high standards of data quality and governance.

• Establish, implement, and maintain data collection, storage, and governance processes to support business objectives and customer outcomes while adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Collect, clean, validate and consolidate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Collaborate with technology teams to develop and enhance automated data processing and data cleaning workflows.
• Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) to support business monitoring and decision-making.
• Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven support for internal audits, reporting, and assurance processes.
• Work closely with business and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate analytical solutions.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and structured manner.
• Ensure data management practices comply with internal policies, governance frameworks, and applicable regulations.
• Support ongoing data quality improvement and process optimisation initiatives.

• Degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Statistics, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Relevant experience in data analysis, data management, business intelligence, or related roles within financial services, insurance, or similar industries is preferred.
• Experience in working with large datasets and delivering data-driven insights.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, or equivalent.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and analytical methods is advantageous.
• Exposure to distributed data or cloud-based environments is a plus.
