Job Scope:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured and interactive music lessons
- Teach music theory, aural skills, and practical performance techniques
- Customize lessons based on individual student levels and learning styles
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and music examinations (if applicable)
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to parents
- Encourage creativity, discipline, and a love for music
- Maintain a positive and professional learning environment
- Assist in organising student showcases or music-related events
Requirements:
- A degree in Music, Music Education or a related field
- Proven experience teaching music
- Proficiency in at least one musical instrument o
- Strong understanding of music theory, technique and performance practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of varying skill levels
- Passion for teaching and a patient, encouraging approach to student development
- Responsible, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality instruction
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and group dynamics
