About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Core Network Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that support our next-generation mobile network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mobile core technologies (4G EPC, 5G Core, IMS) and a strong understanding of network architecture principles, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and interoperability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end architecture design for mobile core network solutions including EPC, 5G Core, IMS, VoLTE, and related systems.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to propose optimal network designs.
- Develop architecture blueprints, solution documentation, and integration plans.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendor teams during solution implementation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (3GPP, ETSI) and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate new technologies and vendors to enhance network capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting complex network issues.
- Support capacity planning, scalability strategies, and service performance optimization.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in mobile core network design and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of 4G EPC, 5G Core SA/NSA, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and related protocols.
- Hands-on experience with network virtualization (NFV), containerization (CNF), and cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with vendor solutions (e.g. Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Cisco) and OSS/BSS integration.
- Understanding of network security and resilience best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications from relevant vendors or professional bodies strongly preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for network function deployment.
- Exposure to edge computing and private 5G network solutions.
