Account Executive cum Admin

Responsibilities:

• Accounting Data entry
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable, Account Payable & General Ledger
• To liase with supplier / forwarder for imports, shipments losses / survey & cost verification
• Assist in preparation and closing of management accounts reporting
• Responsible for quarterly reports & GST submission
• Co-ordination and support of year end audits, tax filing and company secretarial matter.
• Communication to clients, brokers, insurers, auditors and tax agents
• General office administration duties
• Process staff reimbursement and claim forms
• Oversee the contracts and documentations of the operations
• Liaise with customers, shipping agents & terminal operators
• Provide regular update to HQ
• Computer skill and knowledge of relevant software
• Any other a choc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or LCCI in Accounting
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance
• General/Cost Accounting, Finance
• Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal skills and communications skill, goal oriented and mature
• Computer literate
• Independent, meticulous and mature
• Ability to lead a diverse group
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Experienced in Freight-chartering
• Familiar with vessel operations
• Can liaise with ship owner a/o
• Candidate can start immediately /short notice will be advantageous.
