French Teacher - CLSP IGCSE

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction for students following the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (CLSP) and Cambridge IGCSE French curriculum. The successful candidate will foster language proficiency, cultural awareness, and exam readiness while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

• Plan and deliver engaging French language lessons aligned with Cambridge CLSP and IGCSE syllabi
• Develop students' skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
• Prepare students effectively for Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE examinations
• Use differentiated teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Integrate interactive and communicative teaching methods to enhance language acquisition
• Design lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials in line with Cambridge standards
• Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly
• Provide constructive feedback and targeted support to improve performance
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic progress and well-being

• Bachelor's Degree in French or Diploma DELF B1, B2, C1 certifications
• Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience, ideally in Cambridge CLSP and/or IGCSE
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge assessment criteria and exam preparation
• Excellent command of spoken and written French and English
• Ability to use educational technology and digital tools in teaching
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Passion for language teaching and student development
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners
