Our client is a one of the leading players in the Industrial Manufacturing industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Application Engineer to be part of their Sales team to support their business needs. They are located in the East - easily accessible.
Job Responsibilities of Application Engineer:
- Evaluate technical requirements of sales opportunities and recommend suitable product solutions
- Advise customers on product selection for standard and specialized applications
- Review customer specifications to assess feasibility and solution fit
- Prepare and support technical proposals for standard, modified, or custom solutions
- Provide product training and technical presentations to customers
- Offer on-site support including product selection, installation guidance, and troubleshooting
- Handle and resolve technical complaints effectively
- Support marketing activities such as trade shows, promotions, and technical content development
- Gather customer feedback to support product improvements and new product development
- Assist in product launches and product line optimization initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate projects and ensure clear communication across teams
- Apply structured problem-solving and process management tools
- Degree in engineering field
- 5-10 years of application engineer experience in industrial manufacturing sector
- Comfortable with overseas travelling
