Food manufacturing supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily food production operations, ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing that meets hygiene, safety, and quality standards.

• Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities to achieve timely order completion and maintain operational efficiency
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time
• Verify that food products comply with hygiene, safety, and quality standards to uphold company and regulatory requirements
• Assign daily duties and supervise production workers to optimize team performance and productivity
• Inspect raw materials, packaging, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Enforce adherence to food safety standards and company procedures throughout production processes
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas and equipment to support a safe and sanitary work environment
• Monitor machine operations, identify malfunctions, and report breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
• Train production workers on proper food handling, hygiene practices, and workplace safety to reduce risks and improve compliance
• Maintain accurate production records and report operational status and issues to management for informed decision-making

• Relevant experience in food manufacturing, food processing, or production environment
• Ability to supervise workers and manage daily production operations
• Knowledge of food hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays as required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
