Operations Manager (Community Healthcare)

As an Operations Manager (Community), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities for medical and non-medical supplies, including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor selection.
• Ensure timely availability of critical supplies and services to support operational and patient care needs while minimizing supply disruptions.
• Monitor and control inventory levels through regular audits, demand forecasting, and inventory management systems to prevent overstocking or stock shortages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring quality performance, timely delivery, and cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and company policies, with accurate documentation maintained for audits and inspections.
• Develop, monitor, and manage procurement budgets, identify cost-saving initiatives, and prepare procurement and expenditure reports for management review.
• Collaborate closely with nursing, operations, finance, and administrative teams to align procurement and operational support with organizational priorities and resident care needs.
• Oversee Front Office operations, including handling inquiries, visitor management, and ensuring operational staff are adequately trained and competent in service delivery.
• Coordinate with Centralised Transport Services (CTS) to manage residents’ transport arrangements for medical appointments, optimize transport resource utilization, and maintain accurate transport records.
• Support special projects such as contract management, business development initiatives, and emergency procurement activities, while undertaking additional duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in related field
• At least 6 to 8 years of working experience in healthcare setting
• Strong leadership skill
