Headquartered in Singapore, the group supports a portfolio of business units and affiliated entities spanning 4 offices. With a strong emphasis on governance, scalability, and sustainable growth, the organization is now seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead its internal finance function as it enters its next phase of expansion.Reporting to the senior leadership team, the Finance Manager will oversee full-spectrum finance operations and lead a team of four. You will be responsible for group-level financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and cross-border coordination across the company's entities.
Description
Financial Management & Reporting- Lead day-to-day finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and group consolidation.
- Deliver management reports with insightful commentary and business recommendations.
- Drive the year-end closing process and liaise with external auditors across jurisdictions.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles across all operating entities.
- Monitor financial performance, cash flow, and key metrics to support decision-making.
- Provide strategic input on cost control measures and financial risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements in Singapore and overseas entities.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures.
- Oversee tax filings (corporate tax, GST/VAT) and statutory reporting requirements across regions.
- Collaborate with local partners to ensure regulatory compliance within 3-4 APAC countries
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4 finance professionals.
- Promote role clarity, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
- Foster alignment and knowledge sharing across geographies.
- Oversee financial operations of smaller overseas entities to ensure adherence to group practices.
- Coordinate with local service providers for compliance and statutory tasks.
- Manage intercompany transactions and support consolidation processes.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a recognised professional qualification such as CPA or CA is preferred.
- At least 7 years of relevant finance experience, ideally with regional or multi-entity exposure.
- Prior leadership experience in managing finance teams.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cross-border compliance.
- Hands-on and adaptable, able to manage both operational and strategic finance functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems (e.g., Workday), and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and regions.
