Working Hours: Mon – Thur: 830am to 530pm, Fri: 830am to 430pm
Salary: Up to $7,000 per month
Job Description:
- Formulate and review underwriting guidelines and practices to ensure that they fit the Company’s risk appetite statement and strategy
- Provide authority delegation recommendations
- Monitor the portfolio and provide underwriting improvement recommendations
- Provide new products and referral approval recommendation
- Provide recommendations to improve treaty and facultative reinsurance strategy
- Provide technical training to staff
- Develop underwriting tools and resources to support the underwriting process
Requirements:
- Recognised Degree in Business or related discipline
- Professional insurance qualifications (BCP, ComGI & PGI). ACII is an advantage
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in underwriting commercial and personal lines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Singaporeans only
