Business Analyst (Front Office PE/WM)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) in Private Equity (PE) / Wealth Management (WM) acts as the vital bridge between the front office investment professionals (managing directors, principals, and associates) and technology/data teams.
They ensure the deal team has the data, tools, and workflows necessary to evaluate and close investments smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- System Implementation & Tech Optimization: Configuring and managing deal-flow management tools, CRMs, and portfolio monitoring software so the front office can track targets and ongoing investments.
- Data Gathering & Reporting: Consolidating market data, macroeconomic trends, and historical performance from various sources into clean, digestible dashboards for the investment team.
- Requirement Gathering: Translating the strategic needs of dealmakers and stakeholders into clear, actionable, technical specifications for IT developers.
- Workflow Analysis: Streamlining due diligence processes, evaluating operational bottlenecks, and recommending changes to increase efficiency and speed up deal execution.
- A Business Analyst ensures that the investment committee has accurate, real-time insights and that administrative and technical friction is minimized so deal teams can focus purely on sourcing and execution.
- Domain Knowledge: 7 to 8 years of understanding of front office finance, capital markets, and the deal lifecycle.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or data visualization tools (like Tableau or PowerBI).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, leadership qualities, and excellent communication, allowing them to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Advantage: Exposure to AI projects or deployments involving Artificial Intelligence.
