Equipment Engineer (Semiconductor | MNC)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner to support production targets
- Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and yield
- Work closely with process engineers and production teams to support daily manufacturing operations
- Participate in equipment installation, setup, qualification, and buy-off activities
- Analyze equipment failures and implement root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
- Maintain proper documentation, including maintenance records, SOPs, and reports
- Support vendor management and coordinate with suppliers for equipment servicing and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related high-tech industries
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment (e.g., lithography, etching, diffusion, CMP, plating, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with SPC, FMEA, or other engineering tools is an advantage
- Able to work in cleanroom environment and support shift duties (if required)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
