• Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior L2 Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Cloud, and CI/CD to support large-scale enterprise applications for a leading financial client in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high application availability, rapid incident response, and seamless production deployments across business-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 production and application support for Java and Spring Boot–based enterprise systems.
• Perform incident analysis, root cause investigation, and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
• Maintain application stability, performance tuning, and capacity management across environments (UAT/PROD).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog, and related DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with L3 developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams for fixes, deployments, and enhancements.
• Write automation scripts in Python or Shell for process improvement and monitoring.
• Monitor system performance and logs using Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Dynatrace, or similar tools.
• Ensure all activities comply with organizational standards for change, incident, and problem management (ITIL).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Application / Production Support for enterprise systems.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Strong exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and DevOps tools – Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog, Jira, Confluence.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for troubleshooting and automation.
• Good knowledge of MariaDB / MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Grafana.
• Familiar with monitoring, alerting, and log management tools (Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace, Nagios).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and incident management skills.
• Prior banking or financial application support experience preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with capacity planning and automation initiatives.
• ITIL / Cloud certification (AWS Developer Associate, Azure Developer, CKAD, etc.).
