Trade Finance (Commodities)

Join a leading oil & gas company as a Trade Finance Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing Letters of Credit, payments, and funding arrangements. Work closely with counterparties, bankers, and operations teams to support the company's global trade activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with counterparties and bankers for negotiation, document preparation and submission of Letters of Credit and Import and Export issuance.
• Handle accounts receivable and payable for physical products trading deals and provide accurate trade information for monthly closing.
• Liaise with Operations for trade/shipment information to handle cargo and direct expense payments. Preparation of management reports.
• Maintain updated trade information in the trade system.
• Provide payment and collection information for funding arrangements to Treasury.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with 4 years’ experience in Trade Finance
• Experience in Structured Trade and Commodity Finance Middle Office role is desirable
• Working experience with an Oil & Gas trading company is desirable
• Knowledge of Letters of Credit and (UCP 600)
• Possess good planning and organizing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
