Job Description

Finance Administrator

Purpose of the Role:

The Finance Administrator is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and statutory tax filings. This role ensures accurate record-keeping of all financial transactions and supports management with timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting & Record Management
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Analyze financial data and highlight key trends or discrepancies
  • Submit financial reports to the Director for review
  • Consolidate year-end financial statements for salary adjustments and bonus reviews
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, receipts, and tax records
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any account discrepancies
  1. Statutory Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and submit statutory filings (e.g., GST, IR8A) accurately and on time
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and regulatory purposes
  1. Payroll & Employee-Related Administration
  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
  • Track and maintain employees’ leave records
  • Compute salary payments in lieu for employees going on home leave, marriage leave etc
  • Support year-end payroll reporting and tax submissions
  1. General Finance Administration
  • Assist in improving financial processes and internal controls
  • Support audits and provide required financial documentation
  • Perform any other ad hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned
  • Prepare Invoices and SOA for clients
  1. Requirement
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and statutory requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Experience with Info-Tech software will be an advantage
