Project Engineer / QS Executive

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer / QS Executive to support Senior Management in tendering, project execution, contract administration, and site coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tenders, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Review, administer, and manage contractual documents and obligations.
• Attend site meetings and support overall project management activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist Senior Management in project planning, execution, and reporting.
• Monitor project progress, costs, and compliance with contractual requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction and electrical engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design and installation works, with familiarity in compliance with CP5 and SS 638 (formerly CP88) standards.
• Experience in tender preparation, cost estimation, contract administration, and project coordination.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in any of the following areas:
• Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA)
• Supervision of Construction Works for Process Industry (SDCP)
• Project Management
• Risk Management
• Familiarity with Singapore construction and electrical industry regulations and practices.
